Two wall sculptures Strata Natural & Strata Black

This series of intimate, textured paintings draws its essence from the Japanese art of ikebana—where every element is arranged with purpose, silence, and balance. Much like ikebana compositions, each piece embraces asymmetry, empty space, and the quiet dialogue between movement and stillness. The layered surfaces evoke organic forms—petals, branches, and roots—emerging from patterned fields that resemble both growth and containment. This is ikebana not in floral form, but as a visual meditation on presence, impermanence, and poise.
